He glanced at the white vest and figured she had to be wearing a white or beige bra or it would show through the light-colored fabric. That meant panties to match. Maybe white with lace…lots of lace. Stop! She’s a business associate. Her skirt slid further up her thigh for a few seconds as she got out of the car. Chaz didn’t miss a delectable inch. Three more inches and I’d know if they were white and lacy. Damn.
“Not dressed, and yet not even expecting me. Expecting someone else or has he just left?”
“Do I detect a note of jealousy?” She raised her eyebrows.
“Why would I be jealous? You’re only my financial advisor…as you’ve told me again and again.” He stepped closer to her.

He is wary of women, and isn’t having sex every time a woman smiles at him. Quite a refreshing change from the norm! The predictability in the plot and pacing of this story is the only thing holding it back from an enthusiastic 5 stars. “If I Loved You” is tastefully sexy, romantic, witty and a joy to read!

Review: Jealousy, deceit and scandal threaten the two careers and personal lives of Megan Davis and Chaz Duncan. Megan is selected to start a celebrity division in her financial firm. Chaz her first client is a sexy movie star. Sparks burst into flames between the two, putting both their lives and careers on shaky ground.
You ad me at the first paragraph! I was absolutely taken in by both Chaz and Megan. The description of Chaz at the beginning had me swooning. I couldn’t put the book down. Not only were the characters captivating so was the story. One twist after another left me breathless. The end leaves me begging for the next book in the series!! I am hooked!
