“Of second chance stories this has to be one of my favorite ones. Paige and Bill are thrown together at summer camp as young teenagers. They lose track of each other only to come together when Bill is pitching an idea for a grant to build summer camps for at risk kids. He would like her dad to find it. Sparks fly and they have to face their past and how it collides with their present.
I love how Paige and Bill interact and keep you drawn to the story. Jean writes them so well that they seem real. She also brings out the feelings of dislike for her father and Carter.
Seems like these are characters you could know.
A story you won’t put down.” Mary
