April’s Kiss in the Moonlight

Gavin Dailey, Pine Grove fireman, has dated every woman in the county, but when he meets April, he knows she’s the one. Only a stubborn man, like Gavin, wouldn’t let April’s resistance to his charm and his small-town ways change his plans.

April McKenna, fed up with following her father’s orders, strikes out on her own. Her adventure, exciting at the outset, ends in near tragedy. Recovering in the home of a family friend, she meets Gavin Dailey. He stands for everything she’s running from.

Determined to resist his pursuit, April finds herself drawn to the hunky fireman. Gavin pulls out all the stops until he encounters one stumbling block he didn’t expect. Will his persistence win her or will impossible circumstances force Gavin to let her go?

Sweet romance, no bad language, no sex.

I stayed up past my usual bedtime to finish April’s Kiss. Romance isn’t my usual genre, but this was a very engaging story, and I found myself wanting to find out what was going to happen. So I just kept reading…and was rewarded with a happy ending! I am anxiously awaiting the sequel.
