Amazing Romance January 28, 2012

The Love List by Jean Joachim is a must read. I have read all of her novels and I wait impatiently for the next one to be published. The Love List draws the reader in and attaches itself to your heart. The characters are so full of depth I felt as though they were friends. The setting is vivid and the dialogue is witty and natural. This is the sequel to The Wedding List which I also loved and I really wish the author could write a bit faster- I can’t wait for the third book in the series. The Love List is sophisticated, witty, and steamy. It tugged at my heart and had me guessing- I really loved it!!

This is actually the first real romance novel I have ever read. I know the author and wanted to support her, so I purchased the Love List. I really enjoyed it. A cute story that gives you hope for finding the love of your life!

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing more to Grey and Carrie’s relationship. There are scenes in the book that are so vivid, you feel and hurt and love. The sex scenes are hot and not trashy. I read a review that they were tired of the extended family and the Walton like family but I enjoyed it. Its nice seeing happy endings, that’s why we read romance novels: for the love, the happiness, the trials and even the hot love making. I look forward to the Dating list, hope it lives up to the marriage list and the Love list!!
